2021 Goal, Objectives and Active Strategies
Goal: Close the historic, generational, racial and ethnic income and wealth gaps in the city of Boston across the life spectrum.
Objective 1: Increase, over identified baseline, the number of opportunities and utilization rates for generating savings (beginning with ability to meet short-term emergency and beyond) and wealth through financial equity options
Active Strategy: Promote or provide incentives for BCCC organizations to offer opportunities for advancement within and outside current employment
Objective 2: Increase, over identified baseline, the number of small and large Boston-based employers who adopt, implement, and model policies and practices to ensure the rights and dignity of people and provide opportunities for advancement.
